Standard designation: It is necessary to confirm that the product complies with international or industry-standard specifications, such as ASTM A240 S30900 in the US, or GB/T 3280 06Cr23Ni13 in China. This is the fundamental guarantee for the material composition and performance.
Thickness tolerance: In industrial applications, there are strict requirements for the thickness of sheet materials. One should refer to standards (such as ASTM A480) or clearly define the tolerance range with the supplier to avoid affecting the assembly strength and safety of equipment due to uneven thickness.
Surface treatment: Select the surface condition based on the usage environment. Common options include 2B smooth surface (bright annealing after cold rolling) and NO.1 industrial surface (acid washing after hot rolling). In high-temperature or corrosive environments, sandblasting treatment can also be considered to enhance the adhesion of oxide scale and the starting point of corrosion resistance.
